I honestly wouldn't mind another three months of this format, but:

F: Mermaid, Thot, REDMD, Mine

L: Saryuja, Colossus, Hawk, Duster

S: Debug, Engage, Anchor

U: Irrelevant shit

Comments:

-I love the diversity Mermaid brings to the format, but it will go. I've seen more than just the usual Cydra, Lunalight, and Warrior builds -- for example, I play Gouki Orcust, and I met a player running a very cool Striker deck with Orcust cards -- but the ability to add the Orcust combo on top of what these decks already do is absolutely absurd.

-Mine and Thot are ignorant, and I don't really think there's much to explain. Mine could go to 1 with the introduction of Duster, but it will remain an unhealthy part of any meta it inhabits.

-REDMD and Saryuja are preemptive lovetaps for the incoming Dragon decks. I believe the Guardragons will go with time, but not before Rokket Link etc has its time in the spotlight (for better or worse).

-Engage, Anchor, and Duster are the absolute hardest I would hit Striker. I think it's already in a great position to get powercrept, but this is mostly to appease the mouthbreathers out for blood. Duster helps put it and floodgate decks in further check.

-Thunder has demonstrated its muscle with these hits overseas. I think Colossus is an incredibly ignorant card and would like to see it go, but its power is tempered by the mediocre deck it inhabits.

-Debug will help the otherwise underperforming Salamangreat reclaim a bit of a foothold in the game. Like Striker, it's a fair deck that deserves a place in the game, but it has been struggling since Nibiru.

Hot takes I've considered:

-Phoenix Blade to 0: Warrior Orcust's strong showings early in the format and my own firsthand experience with Gouki have convinced me of this card's power; however, by axing Mermaid, Blade's ability to create new cards out of nowhere is significantly diminished.

-Agarpain to 0: personally, I would like to see this go as a nod of respect not just to the dragon decks but also to Pendulum, but speaking solely from its lack of presence this format, I'm not quite sure its time has come just yet.

-Imperial Order to 0: Like Mine, I am not convinced that such a powerful card that can end games by itself for nothing has a place in the game -- even with an erratum. The Curious-Gryphon decks are a particularly problematic example of its use.

-Curious to 0: Incidentally, these decks are also worth mentioning here, but the sheer difficulty of the Curious-Gryphon combo makes it difficult to really justify hitting. However, it has never seen any application beyond FTKs and Break-My-Boards.

-Mind Control to 1: A flirtation without heavy consideration. This card has shined in a format rife with Orcust and Striker, but with the hits I've proposed, its power would likely significantly fall. However, its future potential cannot be ignored.
