I get what you’re saying. What I did was very basic. However, it’s more than just a difference of opinions. I genuinely don’t even know how I would account for all that both of you are suggesting, especially because I did it in an hour. Also, what I meant by “all available data” was I used every single game this season, I didn’t cherry-pick to show a different picture than to what really happened.

I didn’t deny proving myself wrong lol. I was surprised by the data because it’s interesting. I don’t really believe in holding opinions so strongly that they can’t be open to criticism, such as my opinion that Pique and Lenglet are a bad combo but they “statistically” are 2/3 of the best 3 at the back we have. I’m open to be proven wrong.

I wish that I did a better analysis but I genuinely don’t even know how to account for all that both of you are suggesting. If I do account for the whole team that’s playing, there would maybe be 1-5 games with each combo because many lineups are slightly different each time. I could have done tackle, interception, aerial duels, etc but that would have taken MUCH longer.
