Race related issues Mega Thread

Underlying people’s race whenever a black person is involved is unnecessary and fuels more division than anything.

Simple case, the introvert kid who was pronounced brain dead after his encounter with the police in Colorado. What happened there is tragic, and I feel so sorry for this young man and for all his loved one who lost someone so dear to them. It really hit hard and to die like that is no place to be. The people responsible should all pay a dear price for what happened, and I pray that their god can forgive their souls for what they did, because I sure as hell don’t know if I could was that my brother, or my cousin, or my kind.

Police should be trained more, and young people wanting to join the force should really care more about their oath to serve and protect instead of their eagerness to perform arrests, tick boxes, and get medals.

With that said I do still trust the justice system, I do still know there’re plenty of decent cops out there, and I do still put my faith in them doing a good job.

Anyhow, mentioning the race of the person involved in the altercation does nothing but unfortunately incite violence and protest. Unfortunately we live in a world where everyone’s a victim, everyone’s oppressed, and everyone’s is lacking enough brain cells to understand when something is incredibly tragic, and something is just the result of bad choices done by the individual.

I only wonder why there are mass protests only when the individual is a convinced criminal, and for decent kids everybody hushes. This blm movement has kinda screwed up optics.
