Racial Tensions In Milwaukee

It's how the media labels it. When I was younger I thought racism was hating another race. Now it's hate plus power. So I was giving examples of how this plays out.

I think you're getting a little too upset about it. You see racism from a white perspective and were taught to see it as something very terrible. Lynchings, segregation, etc. so the term triggers the thought of you being being a part of that which most white people these days don't want to be associated with.

But think about what I said. Should these poor black peoples be racist? Is racism right? The answer is no. BUT how does it personally impact you? It makes you mad? Ok. It upsets you? Sure. But what can any black racist really do to you? Nothing unless you head down to Sherman park to ask what's up. So why let it get to you this much? These people by virtue or looking for a job or trying to buy a house for example will Be more likely to encounter a racist who holds them back than you ever will. You can turn your phone and tv off and forget it's even happening and live in your perfect world. They can't, ever.

Also saying they have no justification is pretty naive. There's plenty of info out there on how Milwaukee became the most segregated city in America to back up why some black people don't like white people.

I agree with your racism is bad. We should all work together to end violence and appreciate each other as humans while holding people Accountable for their actions. But I would encourage you to see the other side of the story to at least try to understand why someone might feel a certain way.
