Racing Sim with active multiplayer?

If you're going to buy all the content at individually, it'd cost around 1400GBP the last time I checked

lol

anyway...

I have spent a couple hours arguing this with other people and I deleted the comments in the hope that I could stop wasting time arguing with fanboys trying to justify the amount of money they've spent.

Ugh, I'm tired of having the same argument. The problem here is that you are reviewing the game as if it is not a game, it is. It is marketed as a game, so I will treat it as such and critique the game on the same basis I do every other game. It doesn't matter whether the fans believe that the quality of the content makes it worth it, it doesn't matter how much effort the developers have put into it, it's still a game.

This is a hardcore sim racer, it's the only sim racer out there with good multiplayer and huge amounts of effort is put into the gameplay and servers, I get all that. But it's still a fucking game, hardcore sim racers are honestly some of the most ignorant people on PC gaming, they seem to think that sim racing is on a different league of gaming compared to other games, to the point where they start saying "it isn't a game, it's a hobby." Serious? Pathetic.

That's one video game every three months. OMG SO EXPENSIVE.

Is that your justification for the price? That isn't an excuse. I could have spent that 50 bucks on a whole new game. That'd definitely be considered more content than the few maps and cars I got from spending it on iRacing.

You're not special. Your game may be good, but it's still a game.

I'm not going into any more detail, I'm done arguing. Today I discovered fanboys that take fanboyism to the next level, and I truly never want to come across another one again.
