Yes the BBC bull thing is racist. On the one hand, it's mostly harmless. The perception of Black men as more masculine is somewhat similar to the idea of more sexually aggressive southern europeans, like spanish men. That's also technically racism, but I doubt anyone really gives a shit about that. You don't generally see people complaining about that, despite it being technically. People have a habit of making generalizations based on stereotypes, which are of course based largely on truth. It's certainly true that the average southern european is probably more sexually aggresive than the average swede, and that the average black man is more sexually aggressive than the average white man (in America).

On the otherhand the whole "black people are more aggressive/masculine" is the exact same prejudice that leads to cops being more likely to pull the trigger against black men. They feel more in danger. (Although perhaps the stats back this feeling up, I wouldn't know). In that situation, who would argue that the consequences of that racism is not serious?

I suppose you couid argue that exposing yourself to low key racism in this community might make you more racist in real life. I guess we better hope that there aren't any cops on here.

But here's the thing, this relationship is mostly one way. Society in general is racist, and spreads the stereotype of black men as more masculine/sexually aggressive. Even black men internalize these racist messages, or hold other racist beliefs (like asian men are more feminine, etc). In a racialized soceity there is no escape from this. It isn't users of this sub that are creating that. Fix that issue, and then this fetish will be less racist. I highly doubt these people here are the reason these stereotypes they exist. You could make this sub not racist, and it would have exactly 0 effect on changing the world. You'd just have made it harder for some people to get off.

Honestly the mods should remove posts like these. People presumabely come here to indulge in this fetish, not get guilt tripped by SJW preachers. If they want religion, they can go to their local Univeristy, take a short course on Frantz Fanon, confess their sins, and say whatever the equivalent of hail mary's and our fathers are in the SJW religion. Does /r/realasians let posts about racism pass through their filters? Or ebony porn reddits? Go to /r/SRSdiscussion and post this shit. Who cares if this place is racist (in this basically harmless way)? If one really really doesn't want to practice racism, that's a personal moral choice.
