South Asians are racist to other South Asians, so why is it surprising if other POC are racist to us when our own people are racist to one another in the following ways:
It doesn't make discrimination of any kind right but we discriminate against our own people too :) For example, my mom's sister is dark and her son is dark brown - darker than his parents. Yet my aunt goes around making comments like girls are only prettier when they are fairer. She would get offended if someone tells her she has gotten darker!
Let's improve as a community too :)
