Racism in /r/worldnews and similar subreddits against Turks

  1. Just because they're not aware or conscious of their ehtnic background doesn't disqualify their ethnicity. They're largely Turkified and the vast majority wouldn't like to be called non-Turks i agree with that.

  2. Some of them are aware of their ethnicity, keep their Pontic Greek language but won't admitt their ethnicity amongst Turks for obvious reasons...

Check this video @ about 38:50 where this old day is saying that she approves of this video being shown in Greek TV but NOT on Turkish TV cause Turks will cut their throats if they see them saying they are ethnic "Rum". Also in 36:33 the other old lady is saying "We are 'Rum' like you"
