Racist man goes off in a Lyft driver when he’s asked to wear a face mask

I grew up with a very racist father and luckily my brother and I did not grow up to have the same “views” as him. There is hope for some people, and my dad did change his ways a lot towards the end of his life. Better late than never I guess… but hearing that ”boy” in the video.. man that brought back memories of him saying it just like that as a child. It makes me cringe and feel stressed out, I can’t imagine what it is like for those he was saying it to.

I think teaching children critical thinking, empathy, history, etc would be very helpful in ending that generational racism. Unfortunately, it obviously won’t be their parents that do it, and many of those same parents are fighting to make sure their kids don’t learn those things in school.
