Racists. Racists everywhere.

I know what you're saying but scared people are the easiest to control. And everyone's terrified, so snoopers charter (similar to laws France already had and that still were unsuccessful in stopping this tragedy) is going to be pushed through. It's going to be hella difficult for British Muslims, and it sounds cliché to say but the ones I know and have spoken to at length made it clear their utter hatred at those who did this.

But they're stuck between a rock and a hard place really.

People don't trust them and then at the same time they're utterly despised by the crazies as well. And a desperate people need support rather than vilification.

I don't know man, things going to get pretty tense in the next few years.

The thing that makes me sad is that France had the sort of culture Cameron said he wanted to have. The French had a common national identity, and rejected multiculturalism in the form of assimilation. Did it stop anything? No, there are banlieus with many French Muslims that are in poverty or problems and that becomes a ripe feeding ground for the crazies to recruit. Then there's also the suspicion that people travelling with refugees were involved. Will have to wait for the dust clears to find out what really happened if we ever do.

England is diverse and multicultural as ever.

And we still both got attacked.

Shows that crazy can get past any kind of national top down cultural reorganisation that cammers is trying to do.

Anyways I want to make it clear that the people who did Fridays horribleness are without question objectively evil. The excuses the group they are purported to represent have made, about foreign policy etc, I think it's clear that independent of interference they still would have done what they did. They thrive off conflict.

They thrive on hijacking the Islamic belief system to prey on men and women to recruit them while the guys in charge and the backers are undoubtedly rich and using poor dupes as pawns.

Anyway I personally am going to more or less go about things as normal. That's what britishness is about right. When things go to shit, we crack a joke and keep on doing what we do
