In a game that’s supposed to be supported for 10 years, I’d expect some gadget overlap. The only thing I’m not really digging is all the science fiction stuff. Near-perfect holograms that track movement from a bullet, gadget invisibility, whatever Lion’s satellite is called, nanotech steroids, and now near-perfect holograms that can move around. I can get bending a little bit of reality like an EMP grenade, but we’ve come a long way from sledge hammers, car batteries, and bear traps, that’s for sure. And that’s not even mentioning the equipment they wear. It’s either something they got from a 1980-1990 era action movie or Star Wars.
