Your premise of "ranked" being "masters" amuses me. I play ranked matches nearly everyday after work and it's just a menagerie of who has the most unknown cheap skill to use. Seriously. The higher up in ranking you go, you just see more shit like spawn killing and ridiculous angles that people have spent a hundred hours trying to perfect. There is nothing inherently wrong with that because that's how the game is designed, but you keep referring to ranked like it's some sort of nest of video game gods. I believe you're thinking of tournaments where people actually care about winning money. Ranked? PLEASE. It's just people who want to play with similar skill level for a challenge. No one is going to give a shit about your rank. I was in the top 2000, if not near 1700 in the world for Gears of War 1 back in the day. No one gave a shit because if you wanted to be a "master" you'd do tournaments and shit. I wasn't about it.
To further my developments, this guy literally just said he didn't play ranked because of the dickheads. (That's you). "Go play casual then! This is only for 1337 super pro gameplay!" Nah dude, it's really not. If you want this game to be successful, then you want people to play it... not dissuade them because you're butthurt someone might see your killcam and make you change your tactic. I feel like the only people who are against killcams are people who use the same tactic every single round they defend and don't know how to adapt and change. I feel like that's more a part of the game... knowing where everything is requires more thinking than just blindly hoping something isn't going to happen. You don't play a game of chess while your opponent's pieces are hidden, do you? So unless you just want the game to be a test of who can cleverly camp in the same spot twice, then a killcam wouldn't be that bad. I don't even care if it happens or not, but it's absolute RUBBISH you're treating so many people on this thread like their filthy casual shits. Newsflash; it's a game people play for fun regardless if it says "ranked" in front of it. If you want another season of free content and Ubisoft to give a shit about the game at all, you want as many people as possible playing all varieties of the game.
