Raising the minimum wage by $1 could’ve prevented thousands of suicides a year. We will end the 40-year assault on the working class and the suffering it has caused for our people. Every job in America must pay a living wage of at least $15 an hour.

and then everything that ever comes after his horse shit.

No! A million times no!

Look, this is an incredibly technical macroeconomics based argument, so I don't blame you for not understanding, but I'm not saying what you think I'm saying. Not in the slightest.

All I was really even trying to say in the first place is that the fear over inflation due to wage increases is wrong. If you really want me to post a wall of text explaining the entire thing, you might convince me to do that, but it's going to be a long one.

As far as the last part of my post goes, I was not "flip-flopping." Setting aside the reason that I even put that there in the first place, all you need to know to understand what I meant is that the oil crisis ended.

It does not make sense to continue policies based on reduced productive capacity if the crisis that was constraining productive capacity ends, and yet we still have neoliberals because those policies benefit the people that own everything. So you see, we don't actually disagree on anything. Productive capacity has exploded, but utilization continues to drop as wages fall, the velocity of money slows, and all the resources collect at the top. The entire reason for this state of affairs is because of the outsize influence of the capitalists.

The only rational conclusion, even based on things that liberals say they believe, is socialism.
