Ralphie May passed away.

not shocked whatsoever.

sorry for his kids but I think it was always selfish and mean to have children when you're extremely physically ill (morbidly obese).

I know always extremely blunt with these situations regarding selfishness and the contest of having children. Children is a massive decision; and a lesson should do their best to have the children come into the world to a safe environment, and to parents that are loving protective and most importantly healthy.

being however fat he was, maybe 650/700lbs? to me, is just as bad as mother who IVs heroin during pregnancy, just as bad as bringing the child into severe poverty.

I'm also absolutey positive that his children were very embarrassed and therefore low in confidence because of this mans horrific lifestyle and appearance. Children are so so sensitive growing up and I can remember going red in the face when the conversation at school would make its way to how old is your dad? Mine is 29, Mike is 32, mine is 34"

my dad wasn't even that old, and when I was in highschool and I was let's say 14, my dad was 49, but it still made go red and for some reason it dented my self esteem. So when this man if he ever did pick them up I cannot imagine the pain and embarrassment those children suffered.

I imagine that he never did actually pick them up but obviously the children's friends would find out somehow especially as he's relatively famous.

ralphie is dead and lived a long life considering his terribly unhealthy lifestyle, Not even Patrice made it that far and was considerably less fat. I belive he made very poor choices that to me make him very selfish and said choices caused much pain and embarrassment for his children, now they have a dead father and everyone who didn't know of his weight certainly does now - I hope his children aren't bullied further over this.
