Ramadan

I make shit money, so it's always ongoing battle to get ahead.

I started with my cost of living. I rent in a very hot market, Vancouver. Purchasing is out so half the city rents, and the cost is up there.

Found a 2 bedroom suite, very unbalanced square footage between the 2 bedrooms; so much that I rent the other side and living for 1200/month CAD to a couple and the entire rent is 1350. My monthly cost of living is 200 + internet & phone...altogether ~ 400 max before food. This is unbalanced but it's the right you have when your name is on the lease. If you can become a shekel merchant then this is a viable way to reduce your living cost.

I've budgeted 500/month for expenses; 75% of my income is "disposable" i.e. to be invested. Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum are all vehicles I use to micro invest my money. Buy low and sell when you are comfortable with a profit margin. This is off and on for me; if prices drop I dump money.

Find legitimate tax credits; even if you don't owe much. Run a "business" in your home and many household costs become business upkeep costs; tax deductible. It costs very little to incorporate a business name; whatever it is you do - fuck, run a handy man offer on craigslist and have your business be that - whatever keeps you technically legit.

Arbitrage! I know Indian guys that will take 1 CAD or USD and remit the currency back to India to exchange. Why? Exchange rate for CAD/Rupee is not as good in Canada as it is directly in India. If you can follow exchange rates there is room for profits.

You can do this straight away at 18; the world is for you to exploit or be exploited. I understand this goes against religious ethics and is dodgy with morality but this world is not a charity and nature will take it all in the end. Help yourself, so you can help your family and friends by being a more financially able individual.

The Muslims tell me all the same "business or employment" to make wealth; but this is a working class trap in our line of work. You'll never be financially independent in this atmosphere as a family man.

I've pushed stocks; I've pushed ETFs; I've pushed GICs; Micro-Loans and every form of modern investment I can think of. I've tried explaining what I do with crypto-currencies but it sounds too good to be true for them. I've tried getting them to consider renting a house and subletting the other floors. Very few things seem to give them hope as most of the world is tied up with interest.

Stay unmarried, don't get pressured to start families early and if you are married delay children. These will eat all your money and you will do it willingly but never get anywhere but miserable. I see it in their eyes every day; no man should struggle against a mountain.

Goodluck!
