We ran a New Wave tournament last night, and it featured all of the new ships. Thought I'd post a rundown on how it went and some thoughts on the new ships in action.

When an enemy ship at Range 1-2 is attacking, you may spend a focus token. If you do, the attacker rolls 1 fewer attack die. Fire-Control System 2 After you perform an attack, you may acquire a target lock on the defender. Autoblaster Turret 2 1 2 Attack: Attack 1 ship (even a ship outside your firing arc).

Your results cannot be canceled by defense dice. The defender may cancel results before results. Recon Specialist 3 When you perform a focus action, assign 1 additional focus token to your ship. Rey 2 Rebel only. At the start of the End phase, you may place 1 of your ship's focus tokens on this card. At the start of the Combat phase, you may assign 1 of those tokens to your ship. Tactical Jammer 1 Large ship only. Your ship can obstruct enemy attacks. Ghost (Phantom II) 0 VCX-100 only. Equip the Phantom II title card to a friendly Sheathipede-class shuttle and dock it to this ship.

After you execute a maneuver, you may deploy it from your rear guides. Ship Total: 48 AP-5 15 PS 1 2 2 4 1
When you perform the coordinate action, after you choose a friendly ship and before it performs a free action, you may receive 2 stress tokens to remove 1 stress token from it. Phantom II 0 While you are docked, the Ghost can perform primary weapon attacks from its special firing arc.

While you are docked, at the end of the Activation phase, the Ghost may perform a free coordinate action. Ship Total: 15 Cassian Andor 27 PS 6 3 1 4 4
At the start of the Activation phase, you may remove 1 stress token from 1 other friendly ship at Range 1-2. Expert Handling 2 Action: Perform a free barrel roll action. If you do not have the action icon, receive 1 stress token.

You may then remove 1 enemy target lock from your ship. Fire-Control System 2 After you perform an attack, you may acquire a target lock on the defender. Inspiring Recruit 1 Once per round, when a friendly ship at Range 1-2 removes a stress token, it may remove 1 additional stress token. Jyn Erso 2 Rebel only. Action: Choose 1 friendly ship at Range 1-2. Assign 1 focus token to that ship for each enemy ship inside your firing arc at Range 1-3. You cannot assign more than 3 focus tokens in this way. Countermeasures 3 Large ship only. At the start of the Combat phase, you may discard this card to increase your agility value by 1 until the end of the round. Then you may remove 1 enemy target lock from your ship. Pivot Wing 0 U-Wing only. Dual card. Side A (Attack): Increase your agility by 1.

After you execute a maneuver, you may flip this card.

Side B (Landing): When you reveal a (0 ) maneuver, you may rotate your ship 180°.
