I don't know what to do. So my best friend tells me that as she is looking at photos on tumblr, she sees one of a mutual friend. After clicking on it and following through to a blog, she sees a bunch of nudes of this girl and starts freaking out that maybe some guy she was with before posted them online without her permission. We've known her for years and she does talk to a lot of guys from dating apps, etc. My bf didn't want to talk to the friend about the photos because of how awkward that would be, plus she wasn't sure if our friend might have posted them on the internet herself. I do a quick search to help her calm down. But nope...my friend's reddit account pops up immediately, and she is a regular (pretty popular) poster on /r/gonewild (didn't even know that was a thing...) and posts nudes allll the time with her face in them. I know this girl really well and she has a big need for attention/validation from men, unfortunately, so all this makes sense coming from her.

Now, I'm not shaming her at all. Good for her if that's what she wants to do with her body. I don't think she'll ever work an office job or anything so that's not something she has to worry about. What I am concerned about is that somehow this will come back to bite her in a different way, because even though I only clicked on non-sexual posts of her to verify it was her, she posted details of where she lives and things like that. FYI she's 24, so not young enough where this could be chalked up to naiveté. I don't want to seem condescending, I'm just worried some crazy person might find her or something from all the things she's said. This last part is definitely none of my business, but I wonder if her boyfriend knows that she posts so much and talks to guys online. Sigh. I just wish I could un-see all the stuff I've seen in the last 24 hours.

TL;DR: Not sure whether to talk to a friend about concerns I have about her posting identifying nude pics online or just stay quiet and not rock the boat.
