The random rants of an FFM CSR.

"You can't trust the government to take care of you"

No, for me I had to log on to my insurance network, use filters like "practices within 20 miles" and "is accepting new patients", and then after a lot of research I was able to find a highly qualified Internal Medicine specialist who was willing to be my primary care physician. And after waiting 2 months to get my first exam, it's been no real problem getting in to see him since. So no, the government didn't hold my hand through all this. I had to take some responsibility myself.

But I don't want to minimize the trouble you may have had yourself in finding good care in Texas. When the majority of the population and their representatives are a bunch of rabidly conservative, death worshiping, ignorant, bible thumping yahoos out to subvert everything the n***er Obama ever tried to accomplish, I'll acknowledge that there is a real possibility that what you are saying is true. And I can only imagine that if I were in your place, I'd want nothing more than to get the hell out of that ass crack backwater.
