I was inspired by this. Can you tell me if its worth continuing?
Michael awoke suddenly to his alarm clock going off at precisely six-fifteen AM. “Here we go again,” he thought “another day, another dollar.” He got dressed, brushed his teeth, ate breakfast, and walked down to his bicycle from his sixth floor apartment in New York City. On his way to work, he passed the construction site for the September eleventh attacks that plunged New York, America, and the world into chaos for many years. The time was 7:43 am, eastern time on September fourth, 2016. Michael was just thinking about what he was doing on that tragic morning when he was jerked from his stupor by a deafening horn and a flash of yellow. “Hey watch it, asshole!” the obviously inconvenienced cab driver shouted at him. “Sorry man” Mike shouted back. And then suddenly, everything went black. Seconds turned to minutes, and minutes to hours for Michael as he floated through the never ending abyss he found himself in. Then, just as soon as he had blacked out, he came to his senses. This time, however, was different. Immediately, Michael noticed something was off. Way off. When he blacked out, he was riding down Vesey street, right by the Fox news headquarters. When he came to, he was right back at Fox Headquarters, which is where he worked, but he felt odd about something. the weather was colder than it was when he left. He reached for his iPhone but when he plunged his hand into his pocket, it was empty. “Weird,” he said out loud to himself “must’ve fell into the sewer when I--” And thats when he realized what was truly wrong. Nobody had any kind of smartphone. they all had old Motorola flip phones. An annoying voice peirced his thoughts. “Hey asshole! Are yeh gonna move?” It was the same cab driver as before, but he looked about ten years younger. “What the hell is happening?” He stated to nobody in particular. He turned to an attractive lady who was walking by. “Excuse me, what’s the date?” He asked. “The date? Why its September fourth.” She responded courteously. “Well what year is it?” He said to her. “Its 2001,” She replied with an inquisitive look on her face, “Are you okay, sir?” “I’m fine” He said hurriedly. He then headed into his work, thinking that today was going to be a very weird day.
