In my opinion, roll.

Lawbringer's mix-up is quite weak. He can light, but that can be dodged or deflected. He can guard break, but will often just grab thin air. He can heavy (like here) which has decent dodge tracking, but you can just block it. You might even parry it if you're playing well. It's not a very good mix-up compared to, say, Warden's. But sometimes you mess up regardless of character, and can get flustered and start spamming dodges trying to get out of a bad situation. This never works out well, a dodge should be deliberate not a panic action. If you dodge because you're panicking you will eat feint-to-guardbreaks and dodge-tracking moves like this.

If you ever find yourself spamming dodges trying to recover, just tap dodge, unlock and your character will roll away. It might cost a big chunk of your stamina, but at least it works. Dodge spamming doesn't.

If you try to roll twice in one fight your enemy might be able to catch you, but if you need to roll twice in one fight you're probably going to lose anyway.
