That is incredibly obtuse. You are playing an online, digital, ranked game mode. There has to be an ELO and MMR and common sense matchmaking if there is a ranked ladder. If you want to mimic paper magic, which I don't understand why you would want to in a ranked system...does your LGS keep a ranking tiered system for FNM drafts..then you play the nonranked version of draft also available which does exactly what you asked for.

Seriously. What the fuck even is this post. If you want to just go up against random people, like paper magic, do the unranked mode. But if you play the ranked mode, which there is no equivalent of in paper magic, what the fuck do you expect.
