Most women I know including myself only leave the house to do essential chores and never to actually do an outdoor activity like normal human beings would like to do. The catcalling part made me chuckle. They will resort from catcalling to groping because hijab only makes them thirstier on the long run; and they start cat calling from a fairly young age. There is close to nothing you can do to make the strangers of the opposite sex respect you and I have accepted this as reality.This is just how they are and they won't stop harassment even when you wear black head to toe and look like absolute garbage; not everyone looks cute in hijab. I look grotesque and still, here we are.

And it depends on what she deems "respect". My female ancestors, grandmothers and mother sacrificed their mental health, physical health, bodily autonomy, education or career or both, their talents and their integrity to provide for their families and be a productive woman in a way their society asked them to be. Now what? Their offspring are claiming that women slept their way through history, essentially calling their grandmothers who slaved away for the sake of society, useless and whorish. Not even their names were on the family tree until I added their names to it.

She clearly doesn't have the ovaries to live in an Islamic society, because she'd throw herself out of the first window she'd fit in if she was in my or even actual Muslim women's shoes.
