Then you will have to retake tests, so what? I'm not sure why you assume that we will feel the same way about our parents or that this a place to discuss parents. These issues are not related to being gifted (wanting to get away from a parent, feeling burnt out and not capable of studying right now). Maybe you could try discussing them with a therapist?
It should not be difficult for you to go to college if this is what you're thinking. You don't need to be gifted in order to go to college.
