[Rant] is Amath “beneficial” or am i just overreacting

It depends on what course you're planning to go after graduation. If it's one that requires mathematics foundation, Amath would be very useful. It's better to struggle now than to struggle later so if you're planning on going to a course that involves maths then Amath would be good for you since it gives you a little bit of an exposure. Ultimately i would say Amath is very important and I'd encourage you to try. Try because you'll never know :D it's a tedious subject that requires a lot of practice but once you get the hang of it, it's a relatively "dead" subject- easier to score A than english/sciences/humanities/ e maths If you cnt cope with it you can always drop the subject towards the end.
