RANT:Getting really tired of people who think they're promoting keto, but are actually promoting an eating disorder.

You need common sense and a healthy dose of curiosity.

NONE of keto is common sense to the average American. That's not how nutrition is taught in schools or by the government, and that's where most people get their nutritional information from. It would seem that to do keto properly, you need to do research in the right places, learn new terminology, and basically teach yourself biology.

I will note again that since you seem to imply to have health issues, before you make a major lifestyle change, you should consult a physician you feel you can trust BEFORE making the change.

My health issues are mental. It's never been suggested that I lose weight for my health, but whenever I bring up losing weight simply because I feel unhealthy, there seems to be no backlash or disagreement.
