Justifying shitty things by saying someone is doing shittier things isn't a defense.

That's someone's literal life you've got in their hands. Everyone's social security number is their proof of existence and citizenship in their country, and affects everything they do or want to do in their life. If someone stole your SSN, and was using it for god knows what, I guarantee you'd be pissed.

There is a reason Identify Theft is a crime and that is what you're funding when you buy an SSN.

Like the other guy said, justify it if you want by saying you just want to play the game so hard, but don't freak out that a company is doing their best to stop a serious crime from affecting millions of people.
