/rant. North Indians in Bangalore suck.

change Kannada FM station to some Hindi station.

5 years and never seen it happen. But hey if they did it they are idiots. I only have problem with music playing in the buses when it's too loud. Doesn't matter what language they are playing. I have asked the conductor to bring the volume down many times or stop it even the song was in Hindi and most of the time he just didn't give a fuck.

Hindi should be made compulsory language throughout the country.

It was one of your FML days. You had the honour of the meeting with the fucktards of a region and trust me any region has its fair share of them.

Much to my surprise all of them work for reputed MNCs.

Why the fuck is it even a point? I mean I often see people put this point across "they work for reputable MNCs!". Really? What does that supposed to mean? In fact many of those reputable MNCs hire the lowest in the academic ranks of a college. Their work culture is as bad as it gets. There's no screening to make sure they are not only well educated (which they are mostly not as far as technical/professional expertise goes) but well behaved too. Please don't bring this point in your opinions - it weakens them.

They went so far as to say that Bangalore is nothing without them.

That's not entirely true (and don't kill me for saying it) but yeah that statement has a valid point in even though it was said in bad taste. The city's economy and ecosystem depends a lot on outsiders just like their livelihoods depend on the city.

but I'm not okay with state run buses playing a foreign language ( read Hindi) just for the comfort of a migrant who came here for a living.

See.

Call me a conservative retard

I won't. but you pick your titles yourself :-)

a Northie lady accuses a traffic police of harassment for being a North Indian

Oh boy! This is true! So fucking true! These bastards. The Bangalore (traffic) cops are one of the two pathetic kinds that has marred my experience in the awesome Bangalore so far, along with the autowallas. And that too just for me being a Hindi speaker. This is so very much true!

as he stopped her for breaking traffic rule.

Yes, she might be a jerk and not valid in this case but trust me I have experienced this so many time myself and without even breaking a traffic rule. Almost always.

I shall not call you a liar but you seem to have generalized an entire region based on your one day's experience.
