In terms of it one of the nastier examples i remember was with the game "trails of cold steel 3" while the games initial ps4 localization announcement had quite a few "pc when" type comments (and the ocasional switch one) it wasnt until the game was then announced for switch that people started to get very unpleasant in regards to comments, with comments such as how the publisher had "betrayed" the fanbase for not releasing it on pc, threatening to pirate it, or downvoting comments of people looking forward to the switch version. the game did get announced for pc and even ended up getting released before the switch version (and a lot more post-launch support than other versions)

im fine with people expressing their desire to see a game on their platform of choice if its done politely, just not when it involves things such as review bombing or unpleasant comments.
