Rant Wednesday

I got so many people in my gym I just want to punch for a multitude of reasons. A little backstory I joined this gym at the beginning of February after I didn't get to train for 6 months due to a torn hamstring. I am a decently competitive powerlifter in my country so I have been training hard to get back to my former strength and I am about to compete in September.

Reason number one to want to punch people is that I have regained my strength fairly quickly and am now one of the strongest people in the gym. This means that when I bench or squat I usually have an audience which isn't bad and sometimes people are genuinely interested. However, there are a few usually older men that have to make comments about my knees or that I am training too heavy.

Then there is a clueless trainer lets say his name is Rob who looks like a Dragonball Z character. He doesn't ever train legs so those are tiny he also claims you do not really have to train legs because nobody gives a shit about them. He does the same things with all his clients who range from a morbidly obese guy to a tiny girl. Then there is the fact where he openly recommends steroids to some of his clients

Then there is a massive group of people who are clueless which isn't bad per sé. I was clueless at one point too, but they don't seem willing to change and look like they just really like to get a massive injury.
