[Rant] Workplace Imbalance

You said this is her first year working there. I imagine this is right out of school so the only thing you can do it suck it up. This is just how the real world works, if you start getting lawyers into it or she leaves the job, does she have enough money stashed away, does she have another job she can get?

I don't know everything, but seems like she isn't used to saying no when needed. This type of situation always seems to be people in their first job or 1st year as a professional. Work sucks, and not everyone has 9-5 jobs. I imagine every place with this type of work will be the same. She has vacation days she can take off, she has sick days she can use. If you don't take advantage of that and complain that you don't get days off, then I don't know what to tell you. The advice in this thread sounds great on the internet, but how much her life will be affected if she quits and then can't get another job because the other companies will see she quit in such a short amount of time because they were working her too hard.
