I don't get it with you guys and attacking me as well as the point I'm making. Just argue against the point, do you come off as superior by calling me a preachy Facebook mother or uptight middle schooler? It serves no adequate purpose in a discussion, you just come off as rude.

There is no way that people think screaming vocals itself is music, right? I mean they have guitars and drums and stuff but it hurts the ears and pretty much everyone agrees that something that is not pleasing to the ears is music. What's next, scraping chalkboards? I don't consider John Cage's 4'33" to be music, and perhaps you do, but that lies in the inherent definition of music.

I guess perhaps this is all a who can push the boundaries of artistic definitions more and just by saying, I don't think some modern art is art. By you saying my definition does not encompass many forms of "music," I say I know full well and that's my opinion. There's no objective music.
