[Rapoport] A fascinating, in-depth look at former Packers coach Mike McCarthy, who will be a top coaching candidate this year.

Lots of people calling this a PR stunt or whatever, but the guy has been reportedly working with other younger coaches to help him better develop his coaching style in tune with the more modern systems. I don't know how we'll have coaches like Matt Patricia and Adam Gase in the League and call a successful and proven coach like McCarthy "terrible".

Did his tenure with the Packers have a great end? No, but to simply ignore his success over the years is naive. He'll bounce back and seems to be eyeing a younger more forward thinking staff upon said return, so that's a positive. The guy is can be a stabilizing force in many a franchise, let's see how it goes.
