Zimmer wont get fired, but he will be on the pretty warm seat going into next season and if things don't look good halfway through, then we'll be having this conversation. He might be a great defensive mind, but the head coach is responsible for defense AND offense. Zero energy and pathetic effort in some of the big games this season (Seahawks, Bears).

Zimmer is a great defensive coordinator but an average at best head coach. The Vikings have been weak mentally and pretty undisciplined for a long time under him. Virtually every game this season, this team has played flat and without energy the first quarter/half. His only highlight is bringing us to the NFC Championship game, but after blowing a 17 point 2nd half lead and getting bailed out by a miracle play. Zimmer just doesn't relate that well to players compared to younger coaches and he just gets outcoached way more than he should.

And if Spielman keeps failing at giving us a good Oline then he needs to be evaluated too.
