Have been on randia since 2007 (~5000 subs at that time), have been on bakchodi since 2010. Randia only became bad in 2016 - same time as when people started complaining about Russian interference in US elections. I remember wondering whether China/Pakistan were doing the same thing in India, because the sub was starting to become vehemently anti-Modi. It was also the time when Modi did demonetization, so I thought maybe its the backlash against demonetization. But in the last two years, I realize it was just the beginning of a system-wide takeover by whichever party was involved. Maybe it was China/Pakistan, but maybe it was also the AAP and Congress cells becoming finally aware of the newfound power of social media.
