A rare time in which you wish you had an HOA

The thing about Biden, Trump, or literally any other elected or ‘celebrity’ is that they are essentially not ‘real’ people; as in, they aren’t being themselves when they have hundreds of cameras pointed at them or when an average person shakes their hand.

That is them at work; that is them in character. Only a masochist goes into politics - it’s quite literally a career of having both literal and figurative garbage thrown at you. Or, perhaps a shoe…ya never know.

So by and large people getting upset at the ‘character’ these people play is a fallacy; none of us know who Trump really is just like none of us know who Biden really is.

It’s quite literally none of our business who these people are beyond the scope of their job and accountability; I don’t want to know what ice cream flavor Trump prefers much like I don’t want to know what Biden’s favorite Clint Eastwood movie is.

It’s a parasocial relationship that is developed by constant tweets, posts, articles, shows, movies, and whatever other media being presented that only develops those perceived relationships we have with that person.

Most of us will never meet these people and dedicating so much energy into hating them comes at the expense of the real people in your life who have to deal with you daily. They don’t want to hear your grievances about the President either.
