I'd be interested to see a version of this character poll where only people who are especially knowledgable about the game are allowed to submit answers. It would be interesting to see how certain characters would rank! Of course, it would probably be best to keep voter identity a secret, but I think it would be neat!

Wish I could see every SB/skill-set/stats of characters when rating them,, can't remember them all haha

Might feel like a lot of work, but: could you do a three-tier survey, where you analyze characters based on their stats, equipment/abilities and SBs? That could reduce the amount of bias, as you'd be forced, in a way, to grade the character based on strengths and weaknesses, rather than popularity. Then again, the poll IS mostly popularity-based; this might have been the intent in the first place, in which case the effort might not be entirely necessary. Still, it would be nice to consider.

Tried to be as objective as possible. Also I hope something changes about the use of cores!!!! So tired of seeing full core teams completing the challenge because then I'm forced to do the same. And much of the time core teams work because of hones, something a lot of newer players dont have, thereby alienating them from actually feeling like they're in the competition. I don't say this bitterly - I usually finish in the top 3 points wise so it's not a huge issue for me. But to allow for more participation, the challenge should be more sb and less max hones based. Yes, it's more difficult with cores, but goes against the spirit of the challenge imho. We need a limit, 1 or 2 hopefully, on how many may be used. I'm sure this will go ignored just as it did when I suggested it and a host of other ideas to the mods in order to create more parity and thereby more participation, but thank you for reading, and a big thank you for doing the poll!!!!!!! The tier challenge is all that keeps me playing these days. If this one goes south I'm probably done.
