“Rather than being your thoughts and emotions, be the awareness behind them.” ~Eckhart Tolle

We can't blame people for not knowing the way. As i see modern gurus preying on lost souls, I believe that the pertinent stoics are well established in philosophy.

Did the heart of men really changed that much so that we would require new teachers to comprehend its passions? I don't think so. Knowledge evolves, thinking too. This is why we learn physics, maths, languages. As responsible being we have to mind our technical advancement and be always careful... on this point we are totally failing and are not "living according to nature". I can't wait for you, my friends, to chime on this and share you thoughts with me. Don't get the wrong idea, I do not pretend to know the way, but I do think that modern preoccupations of my fellow citizens are not what is expected of a noble soul.
