Look at the difference between this suicide dive, and the one she did tonight. The one I linked is almost always the one she does. I imagine she angles her body that way so she doesn't land headfirst like she did in that match vs Charlotte.
Compare that to tonight. She never dives straight through like that. I can't say for sure what the spot was. Maybe Asuka was supposed to be closer to the apron with kick so Sasha didn't need to dive completely through. Maybe it was a flying nothing into a kick and she clipped the middle rope.
Either way, Sasha has been doing dives pretty safely ever since the end of 2016 at least. The one vs Asuka was definitely not her usual dive.
