Yes he is. He’s the best dragon in the PVE game. He’s also iconic af, which is fun.

He’s going to be able to mega evolve, though we don’t know yet if that means the Ray you’ve invested in will be able to or if it’ll be a raid thing, or sth else.

Regardless, it’s Rayquazza. While you may not need an army of 6 (or 12) anymore, I vote that you do want a great Ray(s) on your team both for gyms and his constant relevance in t5 raids, the DPS, literally THE Dragon.

p.s. if you’re asking about Ray in terms of PVP only, then no. But in general, Ray is great. I use him everyday literally and my team of 6 has been used more than any other team in terms of t5 raids.
