RDR2 HDR washed out for anyone else?

There is a misconception that HDR will be this huge picture pop to everyone's eyes. That's not true. HDR is meant make the image more realistic and natural. It will be bright when it needs to be bright. It will be dark when it needs to be dark. At first glance, having HDR off makes look like they pop more. But in reality, everything will look equally bright and flat. Very colorful too. A very unnatural picture but very in your face. Many people like that. It's all preference. HDR isn't for everyone. I personally prefer a more realistic and natural picture so I keep HDR on. What we're seeing is the color palette and lighting that the environment artists used. They went for a very natural and realistic look.People may just be getting used to what they're seeing. This happened with Ghost Recon Wildlands as well. People complained about the night time in the game being absolute pitch dark and came to conclusion that it was broken when in fact it wasn't. The game takes place in the middle of nowhere, far away from big cities. It's supposed to be dark. You can't even see in front of you like in real life. It forces you to use the night vision. Sadly, people still think that it's broken when it isn't. Anyways my point is that HDR in this game might not be broken at all. It's all about adjustment.
