I used to listen to a lot of emo bands when I was younger, such as Get Scared for instance. I learned years later that Joel Faviere (idk how to spell his last name anymore), who used to be the lead singer of that band, was arrested for having a massive, disgusting amount of child pornography on his computer years ago.

You know, I don't like the guy. I don't like that he likes kids. I know I don't like kids. It doesn't mean that, at the time when he was its singer, I thought Get Scared's music was shit. If I was still emo, I'd probably still listen to Get Scared's music without financially supporting them. My point is that I agree with you, liking someone's music doesn't mean I like that shitty person who's in the band. I have no clue if this made sense but anyway.
