RE: What happened to the development of Yandere Simulator?

Um, I'm sorry, but, I've been seeing my fellow fans always say this: You don't know how development works. But... do the people who says this actually know how to develop games themselves to know how it is? Besides following/watching?

I seen some developers that took 2 or 3 years and they always end up finish or in the demo stage or at least are adding and focusing on the gameplay instead of adding Easter eggs into the game. And eventually had replaced the placeholders with different stuff but that came last.

Toby fox I believe had his game made ln two years, Undertale, but he finished it in that timeframe. He was a one man that worked on it with some help from others. I seen SCP who focused on the gameplay and programing, stuff like placeholders/body came last until things were made/tested. Some developers don't really have alphas out until they have a stable demo out or have the game completely finished before releasing it

I am familiar with it on my first time trying to make my own game, but since it was my first time I messed up trying to add things that my fans want and lost inspiration due to that and my life. But that doesn't mean I learned some things from it.
