After 5 weeks of having a personal trainer and making great progress, my leash reactive dog Neko has almost completely regressed. She had been doing great with the heel command, but today she would not listen, went ballistic at every single dog we saw, and of course I wasn’t hyper vigilant for half a second and a dog came around the corner and she full on charged at it. My trainer told us to start taking her to a small park but I think I’m going to need to get a muzzle before I feel comfortable doing that. I was hoping it wouldn’t be necessary but I am just at a loss. I would appreciate any recommendations if anyone has used a muzzle that worked for their dog!
