IMO I would have spent this money on a classic car which will hold value and appreciate in value.
Wouldn't spent it on a sim-rig like this especially going into it knowing what I know now.
I have ridden in $60,000 full motion sim rigs from Crimson simulation and I have driven my own personal setups and none of them compare to a real car.
It's just about what you're willing to spend and for what gain. I honestly wasn't impressed by the $60,000 full motion rig. It was just slightly , 5 or 10% better than the consumer grade stuff I've used at home.
The only big "wow" factor is that your direct drive wheels have a harder torque value on them which only matters if you're driving a car without power steering in VR. most cars with power steering IRL are so light weight that you can turn the wheel with 1 finger (no kidding)
