I wrote up a purchase agreement to buy a plot of land that the seller and I signed for an extremely low price (less than $500), however, I outline that I have the right to terminate the agreement prior to the closing date. Since I have done my due diligence and the lot is not build-able, I want to cancel the agreement. The seller is an attorney trying to bully me saying I never outlined a contingency for the lot to be build-able. I figured me outlining that I have the right to cancel anytime before the closing date covered all bases.
