I agree with you. I quit my first job at the salon because of harassment. The difference is I believe your friend walking into the room jokingly like she did, with no malicious intent from what crystal says sounds like a misunderstanding or needing to discuss boundaries in a new friendship, which is totally fine. However more than once, to multiple people she does paint this story differently than I think she’s intending to. It’s very strange, I’m not sure. I don’t think either of them respect each other’s feelings. Crystal accepted the apology at her house, and everything seemed fine. Perception is a really crazy thing, and my point is with how our culture currently is saying someone violated you etc sounds really intense. It’s a strong word. She absolutely has the right to how she feels though 100%. I see both sides. If I were Sutton I would just apologize, because I hate making anyone feel uncomfortable.
