Exactly, well said. She talks up parts of her life that are just ordinary or just not true. She didn't leave law to become a writer? She left to have kids, which is great - say that! She writes mommy articles for some small publication you find in supermarkets, she has a blog. Great! She makes it out like she is writing novels and making tons of money (what she does for a "living"). Her husband is extremely wealthy and she doesn't have to work. Lucky lady! Why not just admit that though? She has two degrees, that's great also, but many women do and it doesn't make anyone better than anyone else. I have two degrees from very elite schools, I would be embarrassed to utter that in person to someone else....because why? What would I be proving?? All this comes from a place of insecurity.
