Real-life psychopaths actually have below-average intelligence

You interjected that intelligence is IQ, but not EQ.

Wrong. I said that it's what is meant when used in conversation. That's why I went through the trouble of crafting the Internet analogy.

The point I bring up is that IQ is an imperfect measure of intelligence

And my last post just argued that claim. I'm starting to think that you're not actually reading my comments.

what does it map to?

No psychologist has said that intelligence was an area located in the brain.

seeks to gauge broad function on performance in a limited set of domains.

Wrong. IQ measures your mental age relative to the rest of the population. It is a relative score. Tests can be influenced by short term memory and anxiety, etc... This is a problem with the test not the unit of measurement.

the point that emotional intelligence is an important component of intelligence that isn't adequately captured by IQ tests is a perfectly valid point to make.

No. It's of no relevance because scientists are not using IQ to measure EQ. This is like complaining that square inches can't be used to measure luminosity.
