I grew up by the beach and really do not like how artificial most aquatics smell. IMO Solstice Scent's makes the most realistic ocean perfumes I've ever found, but they're so literal that you are either going to love them or hate them.

Other aquatics I don't hate but aren't what I would call realistic are Arcana's Kraken (it smells very humid/wet and like smoked vanilla, but imo more like a really good cologne than like the actual ocean). Sixteen92's Nerieds is the most mainstream smelling aquatic I can handle. It's light and doesn't give me a headache. If you don't want to smell like literal kelp/ocean water but want a light perfumey beach smell that isn't overwhelming this might be more of what you're looking for.
