The fact of the matter is there rule's are to strict. My first time on the forum's I agreed with a guy and I got a warning because I agreed with him. That's like if you were in the city and some guy on the street says "Trump is evil" and you agreed with him and 5 mins later the cops arrest the guy for causing a domestic disturbance and you got arrested because you agreed with him.
And also it's a spider web effect. If someone says something and say 10 people agree with that person and they have a chat about this in the forum and a admin see's the first part of the post and that some how brake's there policy the person who posted it and the 10 people who agree with the post are getting a warning. I know this because it happen to me. I make's no sense, they did not post it they were agreeing with it. Why should they getting a warning?
Then I post a video that everyone was posting in the forums that hit the nail on the head with the RNG loot boxes and then I get hit with a warning. It's a video talking about bad practices of loot boxes. Kind of coming off as they don't want the masses to know the truth.
Then I have a chat with a guy on the forum about the RNG loot boxes. We had a good chat and my point was if you buy the loot boxes your part of the problem and he does not feel that way. No big we left it at that. I get a warning saying I was attacking a player....HOW! I was just voicing my opinion..I never threatened with violence or anything. But this all back fire's because not only I get a warning but he gets one because he was talking to me. You can't agree or talk to a person who has wrong think you have to report them. That is ridiculous.
So then....finally we come to now and I saw they took a video down that jim made (I will link it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLDid1UNyg8&t=168s) and they warn me again because I dared to call them out on it. What? That's like if your at work and your boss did something bad and you called him out on it and your canned for it. It's a crappy thing to do.
It's just a big mine field. Your stepping very carefully not to step on a mine, and it's so easy to. I been on the steam forums where I have agreed with people who got banned a few days latter and...omg I did not get smacked for it. Hell steam forums can get bad. I should know I went onto a warhammer 40k forum and it can be come a flame war to fast. At the end of the day yes it is there rule's but if you make rule's so strict that your in trouble if you for agreeing with someone...that's just terrible. If they had that system on steam my account would be gone years ago. I got into some heated debates that will make anyone's head spin. I went on a tangent here but I had to go into great detail. Your right it's there rule's but when there that strict I think they need to rethink the rule's. Why do you think people come on the gw2 reddit? Free discussion that's why.
